My CV joint is going bad, so it is loose, you can get underneath the truck and push up on the rear driveshaft if you know what I mean.

Am I supposed to buy a new CV joint through.
I can get the ball bearing and spring, but I replaced them last year along with the Ujoints, I couldn't get a dust seal which is the last part that goes on. Ford wanted to make me buy a $500 dollar new driveshaft in order to get that part.
I really wish Ford sold parts separate.:flipoff:

If I do need a new CV joint, where can I get one, especially where can I get one of those dust seals?

well there's alot cheaper ways to rebuild your c/v than buying a new one from ford- depending on what type of c/v you have- give me a call monday i'll be happy to explain -Jess 530-877-2875
