when flipping the rear shackle, do you have to move your new mount forwards/backwards from the stock location? what was your expirance? thanks

most people move them forward about 4". I did. It works for me.

On my Bronco (67) I did not need to move the mount, I made a shackel and the angle was fine.

It depends on what angle you want your shackle on. Some say they are supposed to be vertical and other's think they should be angled. I mounted mine so the shackle was vertical. I may have moved it a couple inches forward.

If you have a lot of flex I guess it could be possible that the shackle flips around the wrong way, but my shock would bottom out way before that'd happen.

Mines about a 45 degree angle, you get more droop that way than if the shackle was verticle. I'm happy with mine.

My stock springs flattened out so much my shocks bottom out before the spring is done drooping.
