right now i am running a EB 44 in the front and i want to swap out my 231 for something stronger. so this is my choice.
- run a np435 in front of an EB dana20. 73:1
- run my AX 15 in front of a dana300 (w/4:1) and a scout d44 housing. 62:1

the reasons for these two ideas are the swaps would be relatively inexpensive and easy for me to piece together. any other granny trannies (beside a nv4500) that will bolt up to a dana300 easily.

dont forget about the d300 flip kit to use with the ax15 ya dont need an adapter either just the kit.

has anyone heard of this. getting a 80' scout d300 with the texas bolt pattern and bolting it up to the np435 with a jeep t18-d20 adapter and run a passenger side drop front diff. i read it somewhere but am sort of wanting a little confirmation.
can this idea work or am i just getting a little ahead of myself?????
