Started off wanting SOA and body lift to fit 33's. He is a bit past that now. Remember the hack job that the first *shop* did, he found someone else that could do a decent job..

When do we get to test that thing?

I just worked through a couple small bugs in my scout getting it ready to wheel next weekend.
Oh yes, also mailed in entry to Goldendale NARRCA rock crawling event.:D

Soon, hopefully... He has a bumpers, sliders, and full roll cage on the way in. He is going to buttress and reinforce the cage to the frame. Still needs to get it bead blasted and lined as well.

So, Pat, has he actually DRIVEN the Scout yet? :D

I put the crank and pistons into my 392 shortblock. Plastigaged the mains, still need to do the rod bearings.. after that, everything gets easy.

Machine shop will have my stuff ready tomorrow, so I can powdercoat the rest of the items and then mebbe Thursday I can get the motor buttoned up.

Drove the Travelette to work today, so I can cruise over to the shop afterwards and park it outside the door and start dismantling.

Clutch master has to come apart so I can get a rebuild ordered.. the rest will come off this weekend when I jerk the old 345 out for new heart.

Otherwise, we drove around a bunch in Michelle's bikini'd 800. :D

Oh yeah.. spent a lot of fawking time fighting with my server.. it ATE the 60gig drive with 95% of my website on it.. I'm still trying to recover some of the data.. :crossing fingers:

That's TWO drives that died within a week. :(

finally got some more real progress on my axle swap. Plasma cut the sail (3 link mount) off of the 14 bolt, ground the housing smooth. Ready to weld the spring perches on this Friday morning and acctually have the rear in place so I can start on the front. Still need to find/make u-bolt plates and shackles before Friday. :D

Well, he has driven it to the gusy shop and back a couple times. Does that count?

He said something like, it was looking so good, he was thinking about painting it...

I looked at him and told him I absolutely guaranteed our first trip out he would have it on its side. I don't actually know if it will or not, it is pretty wide, but I was trying to discourage him from spending money making it pretty, and then not wheeling it....

I am looking forward to seeing it on the trail.

Vnotch ought to be fun. I should be able to find a couple good pucker spots for him to try out at Reiter Pit...

Just picked up my front 8 lug HD D44, out of a 84 dodge 350. It'll need new brakes, but i already converted it from stock drive flanges to IH locking hubs! ;)

Took the rear 60 down to have my 35spl spool and gears set up!

hooray.....

Bad luck for me this weekend...Im about 40hrs away from completion but I had to drop $400 on the General Mess of Crap. The daily driver won my affection this weekend, but next weekend belongs to the binder!

convertd my pickup to power stering (pars from a 72 1210 Camper Special) now it seems the "power" part is too good, turning the wheel is like turning the stering wheel to a cheap arcade game no force back what so ever
