Kind of a stupid question but I would like to know the shock length info so I can order some shocks for a 45 wagon that I am doing a spring over on. I'm not sure what length to order. Any assistance would be great! Brand reccommendations would be cool as well otherwise I may just toss on the old Rancho 9000's.
Thanks in advance.

I'm running Ford SD towers, and the 13.5" Doetsch 3000's.. I'd go with the 8000's for a D/D, to help reduce sway. (They are stiffer)
That's on the front.
My rears are the 12.5" travel ones, same deal.
My Rancho's kept turning into mush in no time, or getting super stiff.. I like the Doetsch's....

Best thing to do is hold off on buying the shocks until you finish the SOA. Once that is done you can flex out your suspension and get the proper measurement for your shocks. There is a wealth of information on Woodys site IH*MUD.com (http://www.IH8mud.com) Look at his shock chart for #s.:skull:

IMO fronts should be the 13.5-14" stroke version of any brand, rears are usually the 12.5 stroke version, angled in. 14" rears can be made to fit too. Run the longest shock, tweak the mounts to fit.... :D
See the tech section, there is a shock spreadsheet in there with almost all manuf's included.
