what do i need to connect a jeep wrangler/cherokee soft lines up to my ford explorer hardlines? I am doing a SAS and will be using calipers from a jeep.
also is there anything else ill need to make the brakes work, right now it is abs but i will have to ditch the abs.

just figure out what ends you need and head over the the autoparts store for some generic line. You may have to flare new ends on there. Another idea is to take it to a break shop and have them do it. Just be sure you use a flex line from the axle to the frame. Brake lines are break lines, they just have tons of differnent fittings.

i took flex line with me to parts store and had them match the one that fit the line. bought a flair tool. cut the hard line. put end on, reflaired the end (gotta be a double flair) and go to town. i foudn that i had to take the hard line all the way off the ex and put the flair tool clamp in the press (or vise perhaps) to hold the line from pushing through. you will see, its not that bad. front brake will cost only $40 to hook up (tool + ends.)
