You can still redeem yourself DEC6th for the final meeting

The final meeting will focus on
Should camping be allowed
should fires be allowed
should a shitter be installed

We had an out standing showing but still fell short of completing my goal, which was to add in either or both of the following sentances:
BLM will provide self composting toilets near the campground area.
or
BLM will provide fire rings for over night camping.

our hardest achivement of the night was to get the 4th sentance stricken from the goal statement which reads .
"The preserve will be restricted to day use only"
our first vote didn't have consenceous thay had 14 votes to keep it so we must have had 55 votes, the recount showed only 12 votes to keep the sentance in. consencous =80%...trust me this was a majior hurdel.

on the good side we did push through the 2 following sentances

The BLM will make it a proirity to aquire and secure permanent public motorized vehicle access to Weber creek.

and something along the lines of:
BLM will allow and support or encourage organized groups and the community to adopt the jergans trail in order to provide road maintenance, erosion control and garbage removal.

we will address camping, fires and toilet on the 6th, we need another good showing.

The Pizza placed waited for us then we packed the place, on DEC 6th im bringin MY Calrocs video for your viewing pleasure at the pizza joint so it should be rocking!!

Plan a couple more meetings to set the management policy wording. Dec 6th and Dec 11th.

We need an even bigger showing!!! You know the homowners and eco-nazis are going to call up all their buddies to get this closed down. Let's show them how many people we can get there to support the cause! Then, they'll have to concede and allow us to adopt that trail!!

Please try and go to the next 2 meetings, we will need you! This is far from a done deal.

Thanks to all who could make it last night!

And a big "U Get It" award to Flashlightman's perfect timing on presenting his poster with "The BLM will make it a proirity to aquire and secure permanent public motorized vehicle access to Weber creek" on it! Dude, you "GET IT"

Brian, great job last night with the sign and the statements.

Everyone else, great job showing up and keeping this moving. Next week we have to have a similar ratio to keep consensus. I would expect they will have greater numbers.

for every additional person they bring, we need 4 to keep the ratio. It was really close last night but we had just enough.

Remember we need 80% for consensus so if they show up with 30, we need 120 to have consensus.

As far as issues and topics, I wrote my opinions in another thread. ( I didn't see this one:rolleyes:)

I was so happy :D that we got that statement on the poster board through. :smokin: I don't think that the enviro-wackos knew what hit them when that happened! I just hope we keep our numbers up for the next meeting.
