Hi,

I still screwing around from way back with putting an NV4500 into my 110. I'm wondering if I should be looking at making up some extra kits to sell off while I'm at it? Would there be any demand for a conversion to fit the NV4500 to an LT230 and maintain the same overall lenght as a V8 R380 LT230 combo? How about bell housings for the Rover V8 and the TDI that fit the NV4500? I'm just kicking around some ideas as I was laid off a while back and have piles of unfinished rover pojects to do.

Feel free to flame me or what every you feel like doing but input would be great! Thanks.

im pretty sure hes not "in business" any more as he was somewhat of a scumbag, but a guy named Clarke already did exactly what you were proposing through his company called "Yeti" something or other. there would be a market for it, as with all things, if it were reasonably priced.

hold onto your hats everyone.

BCB is having some adapters to mate the NV4500 to the LT-230 made right now. Should be out within about 60 days or so.

Great idea, but without a foundry you're stuck to onsie-twosie's and IMO making a profit is tedious that way.

They have someone in Paso with a tremendous reputation making their castings. We'll see when it's all said and done.

Now...something you might think about instead would be to develop a divorce mounted kit to eliminate the adapter (kind of like what we did in the crewcab). Not sure if there's enough room...just kind of thinking out loud.

Do a reasonable cost adapter (like the originals) for the TF auto and I'll be the first in line...

(Unless someone has one just sitting around they are whilling to part with!)

Daddy want's a 4.2 Atlas III.
