I was calling around for a fuel pump today for my 96 DI and ran across Python, who I guess makes some HP parts. They rebuild fuel system components as well.

Any of you have experience with them?

FWIW fuel pump for my truck is $118 + core ($15). I'm still confused about cross-references, even after reading the archives/search results.

just use p74006.....

i bought a genuine Carter/Federal Mogul for @90. You can score a similar type from Napa for @$70 or $50 from PepBoys ....spec's say to be rated at 50lbs...@10 low....but works great....i chose this after reading success on this board as well as others....

Are you sure that one will work in the Disco? I see you have a RRC, not sure if the pumps are different.

I think the earlier Discos def share the same setup as later Rangies ....but i know the later Discos have a different unit. Not sure where the 96 falls....It is very possible that the actual motors are all the same....hopefully someone with experience with Disco fuel pumps will chime in....
