I think a regular 800 or 80 is nerow enough on full with axels

unless you going for a full comp rig

Looks like a rounded sammy.

*I* think they look just fine stock... now pinch the front in is defferent.... but to do what you point out I don't think you would have enought room to have a passenger compartment (like say your feet and petals) and still have the engine/tranny hump. the 80/800 is kind of small as it is....

did someone say comp rig? :D see sig line...

this one came out better. my scouts inner body structure is almost completely gone, so i can build the footwells and center firewall structure whatever width i want. i also plan on keeping the 6cyl, so i can afford to cut the width in the middle quite a bit. im going to build it for Legends class competition- max of 36" tires.

Are you thinking narrowing the entire tub or just bringing in the front fenders? I am considering cutting and angling my fenders inward at the middle of the wheel well. Picking up about 7-10" per side.

Have not decided if I want to wait that long to be without the rig.

Pffft, mine will still be legal, thus why I plan to start the turn in at the middle of the wheel well.

my tub is junk, so im just going to keep the frame and the outer body skin and build some tubework to support it underneath. i will effectively narrow the whole thing. i could comfortably lose 4" of space out of each footwell, so thats 8", and then on the passenger side of the motor i could lose another 4" so it looks like i will be able to narrow the whole thing by about a foot.
