I am about to buy some spare F-250 D44 shafts for my frontend. My question is, even though the '77 is a high pinion and the '76 is not, will the stub shafts and inner shafts be identical?

Nobody knows? Im thinking yes they are the same..Anyone?

part # are NOT the same. The inners APPEARS to be the same based on the dimensions suplied in the Spiceraxle kit catalog. but the problem is the outers are almost an inch longer on the earlier shafts.

'76: complete assembly #29508-1x/29508-2x rght/lft
'77 HP: complete ass. # 660003-3/660003-4 rght/lft
