I would appreciate a little help here...
I found a greta deal on a fully-stock straight-6 4X4 Scout in Georgia. I am considering buying it for the axles and steering to use on my Tacoma SAS. Before I drive across the state to see it, I was wondering if any of you could give me the details on these axles
-What side does the front differential sit on and offset?
-What is the width WMS-WMS, front/rear?
-Would it have high-pinion, high-steer or full-floating rear axle?
I know I am asking alot of questions but the owner can't seem to answer any of them himself.
Lastly, if I buy it I will be parting it out. The pictures I have seen show the body to be in pretty good shape. He says the motor is very strong but the tranny is cooked:nuke:. Anybody interested in taking the remainder of the vehicle off my hands for a good price?
Thank you in advance,
Tom
