this only happens every now and again, but becoming more and more frequent. it will finally turn off but it takes as long as ten seconds for it to sputter out. it is a 345 in a 77 scout2. any ideas?

It's called Desieling. Try running premium gas instead of the cheap stuff and clean your carb.:flipoff2:
