What is the best thing to do when you have certain plans for a project truck, but have run out of money to go any further with it???

Quit bein a biatch, go to work, earn some money, have some patience, and build when you get paid. That's what I do. Just don't throw it together. Do it right the first time.

Mine basically sat dormant for about 9 months while I was out of (actually, more like short on) work. Now I'm back with installing a new doubler, 1410s, 35 spline and slugs, new tube front, ... :D

It hurts to look at it, setting month after month, missing rides, but that's the only way to get through if you don't have Camo's money or a sponsor...

depends on how incomplete it is. my blazer is no where near where i want it to be, but i manage to still have a lil fun... i'd rather be mud-slingin, but i still find time to stop and smell, and then fly through deep puddles, and i enjoy driving over the curbs and other obstacles in crowded grocery store parking lots and cutting off the bunghole that was trying to get ahead of me... for instance. i was backing out of a parking lot (i was facing the road, on the row closest to it)... i was halfway out the spot when bung in a bmw honks his wuss horn and flys by me, and then heads for the road... not to be outdone, i throw into drive, jump the cememt blocker thingy, sling dirt/mud/grass/rock everywhere (including @ the bmw) and then squall tires onto the road as i pass the guy, who's still waiting in the parking lot. dunno if you can do suck marvelous things in your rig (ie: no axles =D ) but if you can, i'd suggest doing that. i'll add a lift, and bigger tires, etc... when i get money. for now, i make a general nuisance of myself and have a blast doing it.

also, i went yard-saling, and bought a good CB for $3 and got a megaphone from the neighbor, and a $3 plug from radioshack... presto! megaphone PA system on the blazer that replaces my horn, and allows me to now yell at the guy in the bmw in the parking lot as i pass him!

lol whatever you do with it, try and have fun. make it a fort for your kids if you've got 'em and the rig can't be moved =)
