The key is tire size for using stock Samurai axles.

I don't believe Any of the guys in the pictures was running over ~32' tires.
And it is pretty clear a few of them were 'Gett'n It' pretty good:cool:

Great pic's, Chris!:smokin:

Well, a good buddy of mine tried his new 33" MT/R's out a couple weeks ago, and wound up with BOTH front axles broken...

But then again, he was GETT'N IT:D

Those SSR's will be heavier than the Wranglers, but a lot will still depend on your driving style. Better have some finnese or else:nuke:

:D

....my point exactly Chris ;) 'wo out BFG 33's are nowhere near 33" tall, and weigh easily 1/3 less than Swampers.

So if you go with your SSR's (I think you will Like them) make sure you carry some spare Birf's :D

Very true... my 33" Goodyear MT's measure in at about 31" when on the Sammy with about 25 psi in 'em. My old 32" TSL were pretty darn close to 32" when mounted. ~Steve
