Chief yelling alot 07-12-2003, 11:18 PM
penguinofdoom 07-12-2003, 11:54 PM most likely "Prodigy - Fire"
from The Prodigy Experience... but there are a lot of remixes of that track.. and a few other songs that use that sample, but that was probably the most popular.

rusted 07-13-2003, 01:44 AM Huh, unless I knew Iron Butterfly real well, which I do not, there is no FAWKING way I could have helped you with your PATHETIC clues!!!! :flipoff2:
Seriously, glad you got the title, that crap can drive you nuts!
ScottFJ40 07-13-2003, 02:01 AM Sorry, Iron Butterfly are not the writers, nor the original performers.I didn't even know they did the tune at all. The answer you are looking for is "The Crazy World of Arthur Brown"

Where'd you get your first screw, Clue? Seriously, that's quite a bit of trivia over one line. Never even heard of that song. :clapping:
Haole 07-13-2003, 02:26 AM Fire Lyrics
The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown
I am the god of hell f ire and I bring you:
Fire, I'll take you to burn.
Fire, I'll take you to learn.
I'll see you burn!
You fought hard and you saved and learned,
but all of it's going to burn.
And your mind, your tiny mind,
you know you've really been so blind.
Now 's your time burn your mind.
You're falling far too far behind.
Oh no, oh no, oh no, you gonna burn!
Fire, to destroy all you've done.
Fire, to end all you've become.
I'll feel you burn!
You've been living like a little girl,
in the middle of your little world.
And your mind, your tiny mind,
you know you've really been so blind.
Now 's your time burn your mind,
you're falling far too far behind.

I wouldn't trust the naming of the files you find on kazaa. I find many songs renamed incorrectly.

Where'd you get your first screw, Clue? Seriously, that's quite a bit of trivia over one line. Never even heard of that song. :clapping: When I was a kid, I worked at a liquor store that was connected to a night club. When I got off, I used to sneak in and see this band that played there regularly. My Mom was a waitress there back then, and the band always messed with us kids. They played that song, and used pyrotechnics. I'll never forget them doing that song, and the singer coming up to me, dressed all weird. He then puts his hand on top of my head and sparks shot out of whatever he had in his hand.Made an impression. And now of course that song will be in my head all day. :D
nakona 07-13-2003, 08:31 AM That line:
"I am the god of hellfire and I bring you; FIRE!"
I recognized it right away.
Which has some depressing implications regarding exactly how far over the hill I am...
