DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TYPE OF LINE IS USED AND WHAT SIZE OF TREAD IN A SAGINAW 8879 BOX? FOR THE PRESURE AND RETURN LINES. THIS BOX IS SUPOSED TO BE OFF A SCOUT, BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YEAR TO LOOK UP NEW ONES.

BTW all scout boxes use the same line but the 1980 boxes. In 1980 they used a o ring style instead of a inverted flare. A scout box is no different than the millions of other series 800 Saginaw boxes in countless GM cars and trucks.
