Wow, I'm glad there's a Newbie board, cause I'm feeling kinda dumb right now... I'm getting rid of my D30 with a Waggy D44 and I really know very little about hubs and such...

I need to take the hubs, brakes, etc. off a Chevy D44 and put them on my Waggy D44. I took the slugs off the Waggy no problem, but I can't figure out the Warns on the Chevy.

I took off the 6 little allen bolts, pulled off the lockout, removed the snap-ring from the shaft, but now I can't figure out where to go? ?

Everything seems to be pretty well in place, and I don't see anywhere to use the 4-prong hub wrench like on the slugs

Also, while we are at it, asking dumb questions and all, where exactly do you grease on reassembly? It looks like pretty much everything in there has a very healthy coat, is that right?

you say you pulled the lockout, but sounds to me like you just pulled the selector knob. You didn't say that you pulled the large snap ring around the inside of the hub body, so I am guess you need to pull that out and then pull the lockout...

Yep, sounds like you still need to remove the larger ring on hub assembly. If it doesn't have tabs on it to grab you might need to use a 90* pick to get under it and pull the ring out.
