Well...Er...Pics to follow...

However, until Adam W. uploads, you'll just have to wait...However, let's just say I'm jones'in for rear tub skins, door skins, and side wing skins...Left and right sides...Dont' need a hood though! :)

I didn't roll either.

If you go to Avalanche Ranch BELIEVE Steve's (owner's) raiting system...Just like a ski resort...Double black MEANS double black! If you've ever skied Taos you know what I'm talking about when I say "double black". We didn't even look at the tripple blacks he's building either.

My recomendation, is GO! Everything from mild to wild, and set up for 'bail-out's" at (almost) every switch-back.

To be totaly honest, I've never done any trail system that was as sick as what he's put together...Period.

Trying to follow the Assasin is a good AND bad (fun) idea.

Trip report (and canrnage report) to follow after some food and shower!

BTW, Steve and Jen are some of the MOST hospitable and friendly people I've ever met. They both went out of their way to ensure we all had a awsome and epic trip.

Again, MUCH more to follow!

But if you do know of a skin source let me know. :)

Dunno about cheap, but he has some used stuff.... Roversdownsouthdotcawm and you might try calling him as I doubt he's got it all on the web. Try thatched roof too, he's helped me out with some well priced stuff.

What are you making a show truck out of it? Pretty soon itll be a 14" lift with chrome diff covers and custom graphics. . . . RDS has the tub skins. I know RN has door skins and they arent too spendy, somebody else probably has em for less though. SIII stuff is the same cept for the gas filler on the tub. SIII skins are likely cheaper than defender items despite the fact they are pretty much the same thing. Use some expanded metal sheet to reskin the doors.

(outraged that new door top glass for defender 90 is 300-400 bucks . . .its fucking flat, whats the deal?)

Not to hijack the thread, but did they cut the hole for the catch at the front? I was headed to the glass shop when I got the 300+ quote from several parts places. I paid less than that for the whole door!

I woudn't worry about reskinning, think of them as scars, like when you drop plate glass and you ankle gets a bit scuffed.:flipoff2:

And Way, as for the cheeeezy faux leather landau top....Well I took that crap off before I even wheeled it. Take some adhesive remover and clean then up, and then get some HardHat semigloss black, and it will match the rest of the pillars on your truck.

Oh, and the duct tape, was that holding the light on/ the hood down/or the fender up?:flipoff2:

All in all, it looks like you had a great time.
