: reverse or standard cut???

My brothers 1980 fullsize cherokee has what appears to be a 44 in the front. The pumpkin is also on the drivers side. Would this be standard or reverse cut gears. I'm thinking it's standard.

DITTO! if the pinion is below the center line of the axle tube it is a standard likewisw if the pinion is above the centerline its a revers rotation or reverse cut housing:D :D :D
