ok i was installing a 2" lift kit in a s10 pick up and when i was tightening the bolts down on the bed on off the bolts snapped off and i am wondering if it would be easier to take the hole bed off and flip it up side down to work on it i have a couple of ideas on what i should do like i could try to drill a hole in the bolt and use an easy out but drilling hardened steal is a real pain this is what i dread the most but i thought i could torch the bolt and nut but then i have to get the nut or some thing up in the little space for a new bolt to lock things down this seems like it would be easier than the other idea but still diffcult to get the nut and bolt together so i took a break and figured maybe some one out here had a better way to fix this kind of problem

Sounds like using an easy out on this one would make more of a mess than you already have. I'd say take a die grinder and cou out the area that the nut is in. Then you can weld a nut to the sheet metal, or better yet, weld it to a piece of steel like 14-16 guage and then weld that piece in, would give it more strength.
