Hey everybody, in the next few weeks I will probably get a first gen chevy and I was wondering if some of you have some thoughts on the Superlift 8" spring lift. I'm not going to be doing any crazy rock crawling but I will be doing a good amount of wheeling so I'd prefer flex over ride quality. (It's not going to be a pavement queen) I would go with the all spring lift as opposed to the 8" front springs and add-a-leafs + blocks out back. Basically I'm wondering if superlift is the way to go or if there are some better options as far as flex vs value. The price I got for the superlift all spring 8" was around $1400.

On top of the suspension I will probably add a body lift and maybe shackles. I'd like to be able to clear 44's for mud or at least 39.5's. Thanks much for any info.

Lots of lift won't help you with anything. Even in the mud. 8" is more than enough for 39.5's, and 44's are going to brake lots of stuff on a K20. Why not get 8" front springs, shackle flip, and 4" rear springs? It would flex better than stiff ass 8" springs all around.

BTW... 6" Springs flex A LOT better than 8". If you'd like 8" of total lift, then go with 6" susp, and 2" body.
