: Inner Fender Liners

OK, I've finsihed trimming my fenders and I'm getting my 35"s installed at lunch. I decided to go with the 35x10.50x16 SSR's.

Anyway, the outside will be covered by a set of elongated factory flares, but I'll need to make some new inner liners.

What I have thought is 10" wide AL flashing material, cut and bent to shape. Then I'll rivet it to the inner fender-wells, and use an industrial adhesive to attach it to the back of the fender skins.

Any input from someone else that's done this?

What are you guys running that have had to open up your fender openings?

Greg, good to hear that you've finally done the cut/jump. I just finished installing my flares as well, and I simply disregarded any inner liners. Some may freak out at this, but I thought that I ALWAYS power wash the truck after offroading, so all should be fine and dandy. As far as I am concerned, its excess weight.:flipoff2:

That's what I did to fit my 35s also. just cut through the fawkers. I may drill some drain holes on the bottom too, if shit piles up in there.
