I am having a problem with the fab guy with running the extra 2" wide Beard seats and running the door bar to get the seats mounted into the cage. Should I just scrap the option of running the hard doors? Got pics??

i have door bars and im pretty sure my hard doors wont go on, (never tried) but you could easily notch the doors for the bar and just never roll teh window down, make sence? jiMMy

I HAVE DOOR BARS AND HARD DOORS THEN THE HOOPS GO UNDER THE SEATS FROM THE DOOR BARS......I CAN OPEN THE DOOR,AND ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW NO PROBLEM......
THE BAR COMING FROM THE BACK GOES OVER THE DOOR LATCH THEN UNDER THE WINDOW CRANK,THEN ATTATCHES TO THE FRONT DOWN BAR ABOUT 10" OFF THE FLOOR.....

On the drivers side of my `71 it clears no problem, but on the passeger side it hits the door. I am going to have to fix it so that I can run the hard doors again. As far as I can tell, when I do, the bar will have intersect a few inches off the floor to clear the gas tank. I am running `79 FJ40 seats though so they may not be as wide as yours.
