Alright im planning on putting a 3" body lift on my little luv to clear to 30s. My question is this, will the 8boltIFS in the front be able to handle the 30s. Mind that i just do trail crawling whith this rig so it wont see abunch of realy hard abuse. And should i be concerned about the 10bolt rear on it?

my budy mike used to runn 33 x 12.50's on his 86 trooper w/ 8 bolt front ifs.....he beat the shit out of it......and never broke.

forget the 30's..........................go to at least 32's

I was running an 8-bolt on my Trooper with 33"s and borke the CV's several times, but I think it was also partly due to the excessive angle they were running at. It was lifted to clear the 33" by cranking up the torsion bars (not a very good way to do it).

well right now i have a 2" lift and the 3" after this will be a body lift (my cv angle is still realy good).
