Last time I checked, the 4L60-E was simply an electronic version of the 700R-4. I am planning to put a 350 in a '96 Blazer, and I would like to simplify the swap buy using a non-electric tranny, such as the '90 700R-4 that I have. The only problem I see, is that this tranny has an NP208 attached, which has the output for the front differential on the wrong side. Does anyone know if the T-cases used in S-10's will bolt right up to a 700R-4??? If they do, can I even go as far as to retain the stock T-case, with electric engagement???

It sound like you are looking for a left hand drive t-case that was bolted to a 700, correct? If so I've got a used one out of an 87 pickup, where are you located?
