no additives, and make sure to get the synthetic gear oil. what's the name of that stuff in the blue bottle???

Here's what my gear guy told me after regearing my 44s:

75w90 standard for break-in (first 500 miles for rear end, first *whatever* for the front end, depending on how much action it sees--This could be the same as the rear in a front-end-always-turning vehicle like a stock TJ or far less in vehicle with lockouts)

75w90 synthetic from then on.

80-90W non-synthetic and change it more often. (ahh the sweet smell of contradiction) <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
