My friend has an 89 jimmy and He noticed that his tires were wearing strange and that the car wobbled at high speeds. He went to a friends house to get a crack welded and found that there is a huge torn hole in the frame behind the steering box. Nobody will weld on his frame to fix it. Any info would be great. And yes I did a search and found wayyy too much stuff to search through.

Ps What causes the Death wobble???

ORD makes a weld in and bolt in brace for the steering box, I would recemond doing both if its already cracked.

First DW usually happens at lower speeds(around 35mph).

Short answer is worn steering/suspension parts and then some other crap. Long answer is "SEARCH"!

If you cant find someone to weld the frame your looking in the wrong place. Try the shit hole shops thell do anything for buck.
