What are the biggest size tires that I could put on my 84 ramcharger with a 6 inch lift? No fender trimming only the lift. Also what is a good place to find replacement parts for the Ramchargers as in a restoration type thing.:question:

i think petersons put 37" boggers on their ramcharger with a 6" lift. 35s or 36s for sure. use bump stops if need be, there cheap and tires aren't.:beer:

36's sounds about right. You may still have some minor contact at the rear of the front tires when turning and flexing.

The problem I see with running anything biogger than a 35" tire with that truck, is that you have 3.23 gears in it, and a worn 318. Wanna talk about no power. If you want the 37" ssr's, and also no rear blocks, then I woudl get some alcan springs. Get some 7" lift front, that are 1" longer to have a better shackle angle, move the front axle forward about .75", run longer shackles, and lowered bumbstops. I still think that BDS suspension has the best kit for your money from what i have reasherched. They have a 5" lift, and it is actually very soft. Some time jump on some of the skyjacker sprtings, they are damn stiff!!! ANyway, hope I helped ya some. Garrett

well it is a 318 but is has been rebuilt, so I think it is about a 324 now.

I am working on an 87 Ramcharger. It has a 6" Skyjacker and 36" Swampers on it. It fits no problem with stock offset wheels. If it rubs, I might have to take the running boards off.

I would put rear springs in to limit the amount of rear block height.

I solved the gear ratio problems by swapping in 3/4 ton axles with 4.10 gears.
