Easiest thing would be uninstall explorer and reinstall it fresh off the ME disk. Mabye someone else has a better idea here? Look on the web browser tool bar for any icons you might not recognize and find out what the program the icon belongs to then uninstall that program. If it's a program that has attached a toolbar to IE, it will find it and help eliminate it. You can also get spybot and use it to help eliminate things.
