This article should answer every question you have.

BTW, some Fords have 5 spindle studs, some have 6. You'll need to check your own to know for sure.

The Ford disc is five bolts unless someone put the Chevy conversion on the drum knuckles then it is 6 bolt (for 79 and later anyway the newer stuff I don't know about).
There are a few options for steering and the high steer also involves the geometry of the track bar so keep that in mind. Most Broncos just go to the top side of the knuckle (using the GM ends) without a track bar drop bracket and then raise the housing end of the track bar to keep things rite. there are many options but the above mentioned works great. Check out the www.broncofix.com board for some good info on the EB's. I also make the steering stuff if you are interested.

looks like i need me some of these:
Ford Super-Cab: 1/2 ton Super Cabs had a unique flat top, ran from 1977-79. Easy to spot with the 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern and the F250 style steering arm. If your swapping just knuckles for your Ford 1/2 axle, this is the only set of knuckles you need! It allows you to run your Ford 1/2 ton brakes. Priced $75-200.
thanks for postin the info, i appreciate it
