I was just looking for some info, I have a crazy idea going through my head and need to see if it is mostly possible without a ton of reconfiguration of the front suspension.

Thanks for the help, and no I can't use a drivers side diff.

well, a differential being supported by springs is just that, a differential being supported by springs. tell us about your transfer-case idea, as in what are you going to use???

edit: DOH!!! TJ... coil springs... same thing, a diff and springs, but with some added doo-dads and links.

I will be installing a GM D60 in the front of my 99 TJ soon. It shouldn't be much of a problem mounting the bracketry and spring pads - I'm also looking at the possibility of installing front coilovers instead of the separate coil springs and shocks. I'm going to use a D300 xfer case - with twin stick and 4:1 gears. I know others have done the passenger diff and D300 also - like Phil from Canada. Here's some pics of his mods.....Mods...... eh? Enjoy!
