Hi Triangle Four Wheelers,
It seem as if the Johnstown club is not staging a Toys for Tots trailride this year, so Triangle Four Wheelers will step in and try to fill the void. So, here is the plan. Meeting place is McDonalds on route 22 in Blairsville at 10:00 AM on December 9. Price of admission for everyone attending is a childs toy. I will make arrangements to get the gifts to the Marine Corps Reserve unit in Johnstown.
We will be doing the powerline trail at Johnstown, entering at the trailhead just off Route 711 at Seward. We will do the powerline to the intersection with the gas line and part of the gas line. At many of you are aware, a portion of the gas line run has been closed so we will not be able to do a loop. At a point near the end of the open trail, we will turn around and retrace the route.
This trail is okay for stock and full size 4 x 4s. The only requirements are tow hooks and aggressive tires. This ride is open to guests, so please invite your four wheelin friends for a good ride and a good cause. As you may have heard, the Toys for Tots program is hurting for donations this year, so a good turnout for this event would be terrific.
