yeah, i cut a few biz's for some side cash. i was out with my friends till about 12 then i decided to cut the lawn. got quite a bit done. funny actually, a cop stopped by. i thought i was gonna get hassled (curfew), but he was really cool about it. really strange considering that Metro cops are mostly jackasses.

i recommend that anybody with a rider with lights should try it. no blazing sun, and the cool breeze rocks!

I was thinking of putting some Wal-Mart mini lights on the lawnmower. Can't be that hard.

I have a coupe of sealed tractor/utility lights I am about to wire up on my JD 935. I often find myself cutting at and into dark since it is MUCH cooler then...

And I thought it was just an Az thang :D

So thats what the headlights are for, I had no idea.

actually the lawns i cut are business lawns...kinda in the industrial park a block away. lol, i have never used the headlights before but they work good! btw, just drove by a few mins ago, and it looks great!:D

last year it stayed around 100 for 2 months when I was cutting basicaly full time we started @6pm on the residentials and finished around 8-9am with the commercials. We had some bitchin lights, 4 in the front of the 735 and 3 in the rear. ya get some funny looks pullin into a gas station on a commercial mower @3-4am :flipoff2:

Yeah I generaly cut just before dark afterwork. Once the days start to get short I'm usualy running the lights by the time it gets dark. Sure beats 2 in the afternoon. Never did it at 2am though LOL

Now I have welded on the driveway at 2 am. Neighbor thought we were having a thunderstorm (she's old). Next afternoon She asked me if I saw all the lightning the night before then she said she never really did hear any thunder LOL.

I did mine a 10PM once with a flashlight....told my dad I would have it done by that day, and when I got home at 10 that night he's said you got 2 hours to mow the lawn....over the next few months my neighbors asked me WTF I was doing mowing at 10...

I usually mow in the evenings, as it's much cooler. Never after 10 though. My neighbor has a motion sensor spot light above his garage door that shines across the street and lights up my front yard enough to see. Close as we have to street lights.

Funny, I got tired on a non starting mower, and had too much junk laying around, little lathe work.... viola, a QUIET mower for those 1 am mowing jobs without distubing the neighbors.

I had a 500Watt light on it... finally a nieghbor couldn't take it any more and came over to ask why I was VACUUMING the lawn in the middle of the night. :D

ha ha ha....a couple years ago we decided to have a party at our house. i had started mowing the yard in the middle of the afternoon but didnt get finished. well at 130am, when i was fully lit, i decided to finish mowing. the next day, the people across the street asked DOUG K that we not start his bronco in the middle of the night any more....LMAO
