Peruvian girl update!!

Let’s start at the beginning. Friday after class I took her to lunch. We ended up hitting it off pretty well and just talked for like an hour until I had to get back to work. So, we made plans to hang out Saturday night.

I picked her up and we went to dinner. Again, good conversation, everything smooth. We decided to rent a movie and hang out at my house. So, we’re sittin on my couch watching Minority Report, talking a little, and just looking at each other and I decide that I just have to kiss her. So I go for the kill. I think she was a little surprised at first but we ended up making out for like 10 minutes. All of a sudden she gets up and tells me that we shouldn’t have done that and goes on about her boyfriend and all that nonsense and then leaves. So basically I think I’m fucked and going to have a very awkward class with her every day for the next 4 weeks.

So now it’s Sunday night. I hadn’t talked to her all day, hadn’t seen her online. I get a call at around 10:30, pick up, and she says “I just broke up with him.” That was it. I mean, I expected it to be way harder. 3 years with this dude and that’s all she wrote. So we have plans to go out tonight ;)

All I can say is don’t hate the player, hate the game :flipoff2:

And to this all I have to say is WHAT EVER. It's called the element of surprise. He has it, you don't. My good friend who I treat like my little sister had some problems with this football player. this chump isn't my friend. i don't throw the word "friend" around lightly. I have 5 good friends in the world. They are people that i would trust with anything, respect to the highest degree, and they feel the same about me.

I then have a catagory of "acquaintances" as you call them. This is much broader and consists of people that i would help out if they needed it and i would go out of my way not to hurt, how far out of my way depends on the person.

This guy is neither of those. He is nameless and faceless. i don't know if he's a good guy, bad guy, big guy, small guy, and frankly i couldn't care less.

I don't think anyone disputes that she should NOT be doing what she was doing, and I'm happy to hear that she came to her senses and backed off and broke up with the guy.

hypocracy? no.. I never went after another "man's" girl. (using that term loosely). I also never purposely set out to hurt anyone, of course, I didn't dispell any rumors/myths either. How I met my wife.

We met online.. started going off-roading as friends. Not even physical contact, as time went on.. we shared more of our lives/problems. Basically for moral support. I knew she was seeing someone, she was upfront about that. I told her I wasn't about that, and wasn't looking.

After about 6 months.. she re-evaluated what she wanted in life and how to get there. (on her own.. no prodding on my part, I wasn't going there.) She talked to her then current BF about where she wanted to be in life. He wanted nothing to do with that, she moved on. A short time after we ended up hooking up, almost a year later we were married.

In the end.. I respected his "territory" he respected mine, my wife and him still talk at a friend level. We have all gone wheeling afterwards, etc.
