Hey Guys

Does anyone know who sells aftermarket
Pitman arms for a IFS box with Kongs HS. setup. The pitman arm that I received from Kongs was drilled out and sleeved, but the tie rod bottoms out when tightened. So I want to either find someone to sleeve it or by a new stonger one. ( i.e OTT or Mikes )

Does anyone know of any others out there that are bomber and can be ordered to fit Chevy tie rod ends.

Bottoms out? Are you saying the pitman arm is too thick? I had to crank the living shit out of mine but it works great.

Could you have the wrong TRE? I would call Kong's and ask them about that. You paid for that one, if it will work you might want to use it for that reason alone. IIRC, Shaker and All-Pro make pitmans as well. I had Shaker modify my stock arm to fit a Chevy TRE. That's another option you might want to consider. It was cheap and seems plenty strong to me. I've seen the splines on the output shaft twisted with a stock arm. I don't see any reason it needs to be any stronger.

OTT industries also makes a Pitman arm but I'm kinda partial my 1" raised www.Sky-manufacturing.com one myself

I wanna throw in a 3rd vote for Skys Piman arm. I love mine. Tapered for chevy with 3/4" less drop. Its pure BEEF :D

I have a sky as well and it is sweet.

all pro, aor 4x4 and sky and make custom ones or your local 4x4 shop should be able to fab something up.

i bought the OTT and if i had to do it over again
i would go with sky since i could get it within six hours instead of months
