Looks like I'll end up with a 14 bolt in back. I want to swap out to disc brakes. But reading through all the info here it appears that no one is actually happy with the e-brake off the Cadillac brakes.
I am using a Toy tranny with the Marlin crawlers so yes I've looked at AllPro's e-brake on the rear of the t-case. It looks sweet but I may not be able to use it, at least in it's unmodified form as my e-brake cable pops out dead center and just before the first transfer case and it looks like the AllPro solution wouldn't like the cable angle.
The other concern on AllPro's solution is the rear case drain appears to be blocked by the bracketery of the e-brake. True?
Any suggestions?

It still might work. It takes very little tension on the cable to get the thing to hold. I have one, it works very well.

The drain isn't blocked at all. The fill plug is a little harder to get to, but still accessible. Just put a longer piece of hose on the quart bottle. Or fill from above from inside the cab.

The drain isn't blocked at all. [/B]Do'oh  Thanks for the correction. Ok I see what your saying. It's just looks blocked in the pictures on All Pro's website.
Here's another picture, this is mine, although it might not help, since my BudBuild skidplate is covering the drainplug.

The tcase plugs are not blocked with the All Pro brake.
As for the cable, in order to hold the truck on an angle, you will need a good amount of tension on the cable, similar to what you would get with a good pull.
I can't see any reasion why it would not work on this application. May need to get a different cable.

I'm guessing that is grease (  ) slung from the u-joint up onto the body. If so, does that get on the brakedisc?

Chris,
In my case the ebrake cable is coming out dead center of the tranny hump above the first case.
In the picture KLF provided which shows the bracket for the cable being attached (factory Toy mount??) to the frame where in my application this would not exist and the cable would be essentialy coming out of the tranny hump to the e-brake in a direct line and without any additional support.
I'm thinking that this wouldn't work since my brake cable is expecting a straight pull from the center of the tranny hump to just beyond the start of the rear driveline where the e-brake is then connected to a sliding/self adjusting "t" pulley (Sorry don't know the correct terminology) that connects to each of the rear e-brake drums.
If the caliper could be activated via a fulcrum that was pointing up rather than sideways I think it could be made to work. I just don't think I could effectivly activate the driveline brake without supporting the cable more similar to the Toy setup.
Anyone wanna help armchair engineer here?

KLF, thanks for the pic it actually helped a lot.
