I just put 1" Coil Spacers, Ball Joint Flip, 2" Suspension Lift, 3" Body Lift, and 33x12.50's on my 98 Trooper. Now i'm getting what sounds like a metal rod knocking when slightly turning (mostly left) at low speeds (15-35mph). I've gotten under and shook everything to find something loose...nothing. I tryed to visualize what might be knocking while slightly leaning right and slightly turning left...can't see it. If anyone has a clue as to what it might be, i'm all ears.

My guess would be that it pretty much sounds like worn ball joints.

probably an existing issue....just "brought to light" by your recent modifications.

start there. ;)

I would check that and also check your CV shafts. They start to make a clicking noise, while turning, when they are wearing out. If there is a torn boot, this is almost a sure sign of a worn CV shaft, since they do not last long once they get water in them.

The Trooper does not like having it's torsion bars cranked. < no vehicle would> This puts the front shafts at a terribly over extended angle and have probably damaged your CV or Birfield joints. They cannot and will not last if used.

Not to mention horrible A arm angles and camber extremely out of spec.

Only practical way to lift a trooper is to swap out that front axle. or body lift it.
