hey buggy builders,

I've been working on my jeep project when I lost the body is some shady business practice, oh well. so now I'm thinking about build my own rig. Spend the body funds on tubing and a bender. I have welding experience and a full machine shop. I've got the running gear and I've also already got a custom built frame. basically I want a body. The plan is for a rock truggy. Part tube frame buggy part truck. I wanna be able to sleep in the back during camping trips, drive it to the trail and home again.

so can you cats post pics of your rigs. I'm just looking for some ideas on the fron lay-out and I would like to see what you got and what works.

also any advice is appreciated.

If interested in a toy I think Camo's rig is pretty set up. He has a tarped back for cover as well. His is more of a truck than a buggy though. Just sec Ill get him

Hmmmm. All the reasons I bought a K5 to begin with LOL. 75 or older are full convertable. I bolt a hard top on in the winter. I'm 6ft and I can sleep comfortably in it. 1 ton gear is a bolt on with the only non off the shelf is the drive shafts. V8 and 205's.
I have seen pictures of Camo's old rig that I think it has been done in. Probably what your looking for. It was a real killer set up. Basicly had the shape of a toy truck with a shell but it was full exo cage after the cab with a customer flat bed. Real neat set up. If I didn't have 2 kids and needed them back seats I build something like it. Trying to talk a bud into doing something like that to his toy just so I can help :)
