I am asking this for an off list friend:
#1) 1967 FJ40, the brass bushing/seal pulls out easily or needs a puller?

#2) Also, what is the hub nut size (as it is different than later post 1975)?

Howdy, Rick. I used a 3 prong puller to get the brass bushing out of my fj25 front end, and I needed to grind a little on the new bushing to fit the axle through. Not much though.

Let me go measure the hub socket . . . it's 2". I've got one of those sheet metal SOR sockets if you want it. No charge.
