I can tell by the way you ride your mountain bike :flipoff2:
Want to ride tomorrow? Drive to my house and you can ride in my truck.

I guess mountain is the closest you have to sliding down a dirt trail on the side of my face :D

Yeah... I remember you saying something to that effect when you got your puffing self up to each point I waited for you on the climbs. :D :flipoff2:
Ride tomorrow? Can't - rebuilding the back room and I have to put a new floor in. Door too. And it's raining...
Stop inviting me over to your house. :rainbow:

Man, you've been working on the back room for a week now. Is that were your life partner is moving :rainbow:
Yea, you were killing me on the climbs, but we won't talk about the downhills :flipoff2:
I love the mountain bikes, but try to borrow my friend's single speed scorcher around town when I get the chance. There's something way fun about having to ALWAYS pedal :D
Maybe those 29ers are starting to get to me:D :D

How 'bout this one. Santa Cruz Bullit with 6" of rear travel. Marzocchi Shiver DH fork with 7.5" of travel. 8" Hayes hydraulic disc in front with a 6" disc in the back. Full XTR with spare DH crank and MRC chain guides. White hubs and Mavic DH hoops. Intense 2.75"front tire with an Intense 2.35 rear. Hauls Ass! and with an optional triple I can even grunt up a few hills on my way to sweet downhill! You guys ride Downieville at all? I gotta tell ya, if you are near Shasta go to Mt. Ashland and ride the Warp Drive trail. It ain't North Shore but it will do.

Man with those types of bikes, I feel like like a poor kid with a now made by huffy aka Schwinn 4 banger. Nothing says poor like riding a glorified huffy  !
1997 Specialized Ground Control Pro! The year before they came out with the four bar linkage... thats right 3+ inches of travel oh yeah.
In my opinion, its one of the last true XC full suspensions. With a Riesse Genesis rear It has no bob at all, but is really smooth.
I love it when people are like that thing is a piece of shit. Who would rattle can their bike flat black. I reply I would, and it weighs 23 pounds. How much does your shiney piece of shit wiegh.
I want to sell it now... I don't really like XC that much anymore. Its just too much work all togather.

Hey Vova! That bike of mine wheighs about 40 pounds. To tell ya the truth though, I don't care what it weighs. If I was worried about that I would still be riding my GT Zaskar LE at just under 24 pounds. The Bullit I own works so well you would have to ride it to understand. If I want a light bike that climbs I usually ride my cyclocross bike anyway. :) I think what we need here is a big fat ride in the spring. If you people ride mountain bikes like you wheel then I've got some carnage for ya.

Sounds like a nice ride. It's just that where i ride i have to either climb in or out of the trail.
I would like to ride a bike like yours at Downieville or Moab :D
Why wait till spring to ride?:smokin:

What's up kids? First time I've been on this board. Right now, I'm just a poser. I shouldn't even be on this board. I'm using the excuse(legit) of trying to get my rig finished up to not having enough time to ride. ACTUALLY, I am still healin up from my last outing. Landed badly on a twisted downhill and broke 3 front teeth and got a two inch long root shoved into my face in the flesh between my right eye and my nose. Doesn't get any closer than that. Also cost me a nice scar on a bruised collar bone, lost most of the skin on the right side of my face, and a lot of pride. Lost a little blood on that fall and still had to hike(Fisher got messed up) another two miles to the trail head. Wost of all, that stupid helmet on my head never even got dirty! So, to be honest, I'm riding the Puss Wagon right now. Since then, I've sold the Fisher(bad karma now), put together a sweet Stumpjumper(love my hardtails!), and bought a Giro Switchblade full face. I might look silly on the trail in a FF, but at least I'll be riding, Right!

What do you ride VOVA?
I built my bike around a Moab 2 frame...parts are mostly LX...I am the bike master when it comes to working on them...wish I had time to ride...my truck took me away from that...
Anybody here do trials riding (not trails) but trials?
I wanna do some riding in Santa Cruz or anywhere along the coast...the mountain trails are getting boring
BTW...my bike weighs 18.5 pounds...damn proud to be one of the lightest

Cannondale M200 & $25!!! Bud #1 had a loaded Spider Special Edition paintball gun he wanted $175. Bud #2 had the Cannondale but wanted a paintball gun and didn't have the cash. Bud #3 wanted a mountain bike. I sold my Bike Line M3000 to bud #3 for $200. Traded the Spider to bud #2 for the Cannondale. Gave bud #1 $175. Everyone was happy and I have a Cannondale & $25 in my pocket, SWEET!!!! Spent the $25 on  for all 3 buds!!!!!!
