There are so....so many questions and write-ups on bucket seat installs.

I was wondering if anyone has slapped a bench style seat in the sammy? I am thinking about doing this to my zuk for sake of more room for my buddy Rage <----dog. If anyone has done this what type of seat did you use? Thanks

hey david,matbe a astro van or caravan rear seat and you could cut a u in the front for the shifter.we have done some stuff like that before,or maybe a 60-40 seat out of a tacoma would work

All I can say is I hope whoever rides the bench will etiehr be gay or female cause having that t-case shifter stuck up ya cant be fun as well as when you have to set the e-brake WHOOOOA!


Just having fun and giving you some things to think about.

Of course you could always convert your e-brake over to the old toyota kind.....and leave it in 4wd.

He already plans on doing the toy e-brake handle a la Zukipuke (thanks mike!) He just wants a bench for sum lovin!! nah, his dog just needs some extra room. He's got a BIG OL' DOG!!!! :eek:

Thanks for the info brother. I haven't had time to really to get out and take measuments yet..............these storms keep me busy.

I do have a female, but shes in school 2 counties away. As Art [nc_zuk] mentioned......I am in the process of pulling out a yota e-brake system to use in my zuk. As far as the t-case shifter....... I either cut that part of the seat out or bend a piece of steel pipe.

[LOL] I just wanted to clerify bout thu female issue...me not gay.......wanna fight bout it [LOL]
