I was wondering if any of you were running missing link shackles with yj lift? on the rear not the front? and where you got them? just courses beacuse i no the yj kit has a 7 inch shackle so you would have to have a pretty long missing link shackle but im sure someones running them and selling them who is it

I have the CSC YJ kit with a pair of Chris Villarreal's upper Missing Link sections in back, and it works great. The only problem is that fitting long enough shocks that don't limit down-travel or up-travel is a pain. The YJ's have gobs of flex to begin with....adding another 3 inches of travel really requires some long shock travel!

i had that part figured out already i was going to cute a long slot hole through the back floor and install a set of bilstein shocks with a modified yota shock hoop mount that goes through the beds on yota's do you have any pictures availble of your Chris Villarreal upper Missing Link setup?

Geoff and Chris,
How well balanced is the travel now with the missing link on the rear. I'm running the CSC kit with 5 leaf fronts and 6 leaf rear (5 leaf pack plus longest standard leaf) right now. The front end drops very well, but the rear just doesn't have as much travel.
I'm not limiting my shock out in either the front or the rear (I will re-measure just to be absolutely sure though). If I can I would like to get a little bit more of a balanced travel (the spring rates are balanced very nicely though until I max out the rear).
