Tracy Jordan and one other guy in the ARCA circuit have their fenders like that. they moved the latches to the front, and did not use much of an inner fender. Also i noticed that they used two small pieces of the side scirt to fill in the holes. They both also had small cut fenders not full sized ones. In the back they had it cut out to the top of the tub. And no inner fenders.
I too plan to do something similar in the back on my project rig, but i am just not going to run any fromt fenders. kinda like what Lance used to run.

I built new tube fenders for mine and moved them upto where they are about a half inch from the hood. I cut the stock side skirts to fit. This made plenty of room for the 39.5's.

I am going to drive my fenderless rig on the road too. Its called mudflaps, big ugly black ones. I hate them too, but it is worth havint the great cooling and clearence of no fenders.

I just remembered those two cruisers i am talking about were in an issue of toyota trails, i cannot find my copy but i am sure someone else has one. It was like a year and a half ago, there was a black cruiser on the cover with a guy pushing it. You will find great pics of them there.

Go to www.flca.org, (http://www.flca.org,) click on pictures, then member #11 (FLCA President). Another FLCA member rebuilt his 40 with the same fenders and runs 39 Boggers, no pictures but he was at GSMTR this year.

It was the TlCC Willowglen Challenge held last weekend - Goulburn 200klm South west of
Sydney. As for the fenders the competition stated all wheels must be covered so thats why they look up the SHIT ??

I moved mine up I used a 1 inch box section beteewn the hood and top of the gaurd.If you want to see a photo it under. Pics wanted of rollcages!! in this forum.
