I'm putting on a Fabtech 6" lift on my 2004 F150 SuperCrew... I've gone so far snag free until now. I can't get the Bolts that attach the CV axles to the T-case broken loose. the axle keeps spinning... any tips??? I've tried everything i can think of... thanks

Impact gun on reverse. :flipoff2: or have someone stand on the brakes.

Impact isn't working... I'm having to use a breakerbar. and there are no rotors on... So no brakes to stand on.... already learned that the hard way... Popped the brake cyl. out... big mess.

if the diff has a yoke, put a big crescent wrench on it. if it is a flange, thread two bolts in and use a pry bar on them. Next time, break the bolts loose you jack the trucks tires off the ground.

Put it in 4wd and put it Park.

Oh and BTW... The ONLY way to properly lift this IFS rig is with a cutting torch, lots of new metal, a welder, some nifty adjustable coil buckets, maybe some Wild Horses EB 5.5 coils, misc heims and Johnny Joints.... (the list goes on)

I figured it out... I just used a big steel pipe in between the studs and anchored it to the garage floor... Ghetto.. but it worked.. Thanks for the input guys!
