Looks great man:D That stuff is high! I checked on 6' vinal privace fence a while back...$21 per foot NOT installed! But, vinal is THE way to go with out a doubt. I did put 2 8' runs of vinal lattice on both sides of my hot tub and it was $450 with top, bottom and 5 posts.

I will agree that it looks good but $250 a section is quite a bit. the guys that installed were cool and drilled me a hole to fill with concrete and make into a dog tie out

Brings up the property value, right?

Damn, I had that same fence installed for 16 bucks/foot out here. Utah.

Now just for fun you need to start parking the trailer on the other side of the house.

lol, I guess she wont be getting anymore "freebie" snow plowings.. if I were to tap that thing with some snow it would shatter:rolleyes:

$3500/7 sections = $500 per section BTW:rolleyes: :flipoff2:

holy shiat that's still an expensive fence no matter how you break down the materials. Did your neighbor ask you to kick in for half? They do that here in CA

Don't sweat it. That's a "Good Neighbor Fence." You know what that is, right - the higher the fence, the better the neighbor!:D

Ditto.... Fence Looks good.

Now if she installed it, and asked you to pay half AFTER THE INSTALLATION, I'd gripe. If she picked up the tab... add a 4x4 to the inside on your side... so the trailer doesn't take out the fence.

Be glad you don't have an anal HOA... I had to keep the trailer BEHIND the fence... but they didn't allow driving on the lawn, either. Thankfully it was a Tow Dolly I could move by myself.

What's the problem?
I can't blame her for not wanting to look at your junk trailer.

She should be happy until a couple of years from now, you knock 1/2 a dozen holes in her fence w/ the lawn mower chunking debris
Vinyl fences are garbage after the sun cooks 'em a couple of seasons.

well hells bells then man. either a) tear it out because it's on your property, or b), rejoice that your neighbor just added property value to your lot. *edit* or c)tear it out and sell it for half cost :) build a bigger, uglier trailer.

my father had a neighbor start constructing a fence on his property...he figures the fence was 3-4 feet over for the stretch of a acre or so..he tried to be reasonable and talk to the guy - but of course the guy was a dick and forced my old man to hire a "appraiser" to come out and take measurments...sho'nuff my pops measurements were right on.

actually while the dude was there chalking lines the wife of the neighbor came out and asked him for his ID...calling him a fake

LoL the guy told her she was watching too many soap opera's and to go back into her house!!!

Dad said it was "almost" worth the 800 or so dollars it cost to have the appraisal done for the blueprints as he sat there on his balcony in the shade slamming cold beer as his neighbor was out on the property pulling down his new fence in 100 degree weather...

Yea, tell her to get those hanging plants off your new fence before they warp it!! Doesn't she realize how much a fence like that costs?

so you knowing that the fence was on your property still
allowed it to be constructed-?

and why did you allow that?

I'd make her move it to her side of the prop line.

but, she'll nag you on everything you ever do afterwards.

--Sherpa

I like the story about the guy who hired the surveyor
and the neighbor had to tear down the fence.... hehehe

Just paint it in tie dye colors and grow some weird vines all over it, what's she gonna do, it's your fence.

oh yeah, send her a thank you note, expressing your gratitude on her extremely nice gift.

My neighbor put up a boulder wall, on 2' of our land. Now he gets fish carcass, and we drain all our oil on his asphalt driveway:D
