Ok, new clutch installed Friday, shifting still sucked and external slave slightly dripping from the bolts/slave itself, and a couple drops between the bellhousing/engine... so I figure I`ll change the External Slave today (had to do other work yesterday)

So I takeout the old slave, and put the new one in. Pump it a few times, then hold and try to bleed - NO FLUID. Try a couple more times, no fluid..

Check Master Cyl, can see fluid but at 80% so I top it off, and pump about 5 times then hold, no fluid in slave cyl bleeder.

Pump 5 more times and then "poosh" brake/clutch fluid all on the floor, it came out between the engine and bellhousing. (Where there should be NO clutch fluid, like I was experiencing before but all at once! POOSH!)

So I figure ok there must be SOME fluid in the bleeder - Nope NONE.

So what the hell could be wrong here? I`m stumped.

I bet I know what the problem is :) If that's your standard aftermarket slave cylinder then that's not a bleeder under there, it has no bleeder. It's a set screw that helps hold everything together and you may have just ruined the slave...

Read this (http://www.quadratec.com/pdf/slave_cylinder.pdf) for more info from the manufacturer.

Yep that's the problem!!

Thanks... the Slave I got at NAPA didn't come with any paperwork, and the guy at NAPA I called for help said if it broke just return it and they'd swap it for me...

Thank's again!

yea, you have to just tilt the slave upwards and fill it with fluid and then reconnect it instead of bleeding it like normal.
