Sounds like you're using OS9 or maybe even an earlier one?

OSX actually does the memory thing automatically.

Anyway, I don't recall the procedure for that too well, but I do know that it IS in the help menu. Just look under "memory"

I think you highlight the application with a single click, then click on file>info and you'll see something about memory allocated.

You'll see it in the help menu.

You may still have problems though. OS9 sucks almost as bad as Windows 95/98/ME.

You should either go BACK to OS 8.5 or go forward to OSX.

if your'e using os9 then click on the program icon then apple+I will bring up the info menu. Then select memory from the pull down and you'll see minimun and suggested. Start messing with those numbers. they're in bytes. so multiply everything by 1000 or so and that'll get you close to MB.

Highlight the application and go to File->Get Info (or Control-Click on the Application->Get Info). Select Memory in the choices and set a new maximum size.

If you are usining 8.5-9.2 It is easy. Close the program and then find the original program icon and click on it once to highlight it. After this... hit {Apple + i) and in the drop down menu goto memory and allot the memory you want. there will be a min and a Max... EZ in 5 secs.
