Is it possible to take a BW 1350 and mate it up the C-4?
Looking at the diagrams it looks like all I need to do is change the tail housing to a c-5 housing.

I've got one in my garage right now:flipoff2:
Yep it will work, but can I ask why you want to run a bw1350??

Yes you could... but why?
I've got the parts you need to put a d20 behind that c4 and i'll make ya a good deal on em ;)
I'm in G-Town :D

I want to gut the BW 1350 and fab it up so I can mate it to a D20. Then I will use the BW 1350 a gear splitter. Similiar to the Rock Box but smaller in size

Thats been tried, but I was told that the 1350 is too wide, or the 20 is too narrow to mount together:( You have to cut too much off the 1350 to clear the front output of the 20. But good luck to ya, and show us pics when your done:D

Fugly Ranger already said it... But maybe if you make your own case for the planetaries? Not sure what your intentions are. Also the 1350 only has a 4 gear planetary, I'd use the guts from a 1354 as it is a 6 gear planetary (the planetaries can interchange between the cases btw) I have a 1350 chopped and cut that i bought from a guy. For now i have to run two bw cases and very soon i'm gonna get an atlas for the second case. I'm guestioning the strength of the bw doubler... this case is not proven in this application yet ;)

thanks for the info. I was planning to cut and fab the case. Alum is easy to work with.... the BW 1350 and 1354 should be able to handle the V8 power. I was concern about the spline count. will the spline count match?

the spline count on the ranger boxes is 25 spline input.

No, the spline counts are different. the eb c4 uses a 28 spl output, the ranger bw cases use a 25spl like rock ranger said. Seems you have two options... change the trans tailshaft to one from a ranger c5 or machine a new input for the planetaries (that could get expensive though)
I'd like to come down and check out what you're doing sometime... maybe have a couple   :D
