Brutpwr 08-05-2003, 02:21 PM Well actually if you are lucky and the crank is not out of round...sometimes you can get by with a polish to the bad jounals, some new rod bearings, reassy of the motor and your good to go--this is usually not the case however! Pull the oil pan and the rod bearings , look at the journals if they are not too bad you should be able to hit them with some cloth and put new bearings back in and be done. Do the mains while your at it
